We are always looking for talented people to share their skills with our Helping Hands group. This can be done as a casual demonstration or as a group lesson.

There is a demand for people who are available to drive members to and from the Centre.

Entertainers are needed to perform for approximately one hour. Most forms of entertainment are welcome!

The Centre has many special events and daily afternoon teas. Homemade cakes, cookies and breads for these occasions are enjoyed by so many seniors. Your donation to the Centre is appreciated.

Hosts and Hostesses are required our Helping Hands group.

At Helping Hands, volunteers prepare and serve tea and coffee, socialize with group participants, and may be required to assist with crafts.

Visitors are needed to go out into the homes of Seniors or into hospitals and visit Seniors that are not able to come to the Strathcona Place Senior Centre.

There always seems to be computer work that needs to be done, usually basic data entry.

Hosts and Hostesses are always required for our Outreach Teas.

At the tea, volunteers help set up the auditorium, prepare and serve tea and coffee and make sure dishes are cleared away at the end of the tea.
