Jeff has been accountable for all program operation, administrative direction, staffing, facility operations, and financial accountability for the Centre for over 30 years.
He and his wife, Marja, have one son.

Mrs. Rita Mittelsteadt (Rita)

Rita is responsible for program development and food service operations and has been employed with the Centre for 18 years.
She is married to Morley and has two married sons bringing her grandchildren. |
Mrs. Esther Lai
Secretary / Bookkeeper

Esther Lai is a charming new addition to the staff of the Centre as our Secretary / Bookkeeper. She has training in auditing and accounting and brings a delightful smile to the Centre. She is married to Andy and has been in Canada from Hong Kong for over 22 years. She speaks Mandarin and Cantonese as a translator.

Mrs. Terrie-Jane Shaw (Terrie)

Terrie is the individual on staff that meets all participants at the front reception and arranges for the thousand of hours of volunteer commitment to the Centre and Society by members and community supporter. She is also responsible for records collection, scheduling of class and program registration, and membership services. Terrie has worked in this position for over 13 ½ years.
She is married to Paul and they have a number of grown sons and daughters with several grandchildren in tow.

Jo is married to Wayne McDaniel (note the Irish spelling is what Jo tells us) and she has two sons, Andrew and John.

Neli Farolan is a wonderful tasty dish in our kitchen. Her cooking skills have gained a great reputation among the seniors of the Centre.
Her soups and specials are always delicious and her surprise creations are highly anticipated. Neli also volunteers in the Centre as an art instructor and as a member of the Art Exhibit Committee.

Mr. Zenon Dabrowny

Mr. Zenon Dabrowny is the Janitor of the Centre. He is our newest staff person and brings a cheerful and enthusiastic presence to the atmosphere of the “Place”. He is a bachelor of Polish / Ukrainian extraction and can speak Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, and English. He has been in Canada over 18 years. Zenon is a name of Greek origin . Zenon has one sister in Edmonton and another in Calgary. He is Uncle Zenon to a flock of nieces and nephews. When you come to the Centre seek Zenon out and get him talking about travelling around the world, especially his recent trip to Australia!
